Station exits clad - check. Station structures painted - check. LED train arrival timing boards installed - check. Lights on - check! Station name signs - che... Oops! These are some of the items that have been marked off at the various stage 6 stations along the Circle Line's stage 6 (CCL6). Since September, the rest of the line has undergone early closures & late openings to commence the process of integrating the extension with the rest of the loop.
CC30 - Keppel (Contract 882)
In a nutshell: The station is pretty much ready, with light boxes for location information and system maps already installed at the various station exits. What was missing were the large public transport caplet logos that typically adorn station exits post-Thomson-East Coast Line (TEL) and the station name signs. Exit 1 features an integrated bicycle parking area and thus features 3 lifts all located in a row. The station exits feature wooden-themed ceilings and the treatment of the rain screens is very cool as well.

CC31 - Cantonment (Contract 883)
In a nutshell: Work at the station was rapidly wrapping up, with tidying up of the work areas and landscaping works being carried out. Exit 4, thus far, was the only exit displaying the public transport symbol caplet. But that's getting a little ahead of ourselves. Exit 1, the lift & stairs-only exit, was largely ready. Items missing were the aforementioned public transport symbol caplet, station name signage and the exit signage with first & last train information. Exit 2 was also in a similar state, with the round part of the exit's design being painted in colours reflecting those of the Tanjong Pagar old railway station. Exit 3 was still having some work done to it, but otherwise largely completed. Exit 4 was the one furthest along. Lights were switched on at this exit as well and the arrival plaza outside the exit was looking ready to be opened.

CC32 - Prince Edward Road (Contract 885)
In a nutshell: Most of the hoarding at the site has been taken down and been replaced with temporary construction fencing. The station exits were almost complete, with some cladding works remaining. Work was ongoing on the interior of Exit 1 on the day of the visit, with a wooden-looking feature wall visible through the glass facade. The three ancillary buildings spread across the site also appear to be mostly completed.

Tunnels in Marina Bay (Contract 886)
In a nutshell: Only a few pockets of hoarding remain on site, with the rest of the work areas since reinstated and returfing completed. Works to wind down the site used as the temporary staging area for trackworks are underway, with the sealing of the final opening in progress.
