With the Circle Line (CCL) stage 6 being only 3 stations in length, this is the final update for Q2 of 2023 for this extension project. Once again, Seloloving has kindly provided us with these images for our use in the update - thank you and very much appreciated.

As a recap, Prince Edward Road is a station located underneath the former Shenton Way bus terminal, which has since moved to make way for construction. The station will feature 3 basement levels -  consisting of the concourse, upper platform and lower platform levels - and will feature 2 exits upon opening day in 2026. Tracks at the station will be in a stacked formation, harkening back to the days of Promenade station when it first opened with future platforms sealed off. Likewise, Prince Edward Road station has provisions built for a future line or service to operate.

Work at the station is still in progress with the site looking as busy as ever. Tunneling works were completed in early-2022, hence the launch shaft at the western end of the station has since been decommissioned. Works are still underway to construct the station exit located at 78 Shenton Way which will use a trenchless method to connect with the main station box, negating any impact to traffic above on Shenton Way.

Track works for the line are expected to use the cut & cover tunnel turnback facility as a staging area. However, at this juncture, track works are unlikely to have commenced as structural works are still underway. Do stay tuned as we provide further progress updates in time to come.
