LTA's official photos
Later in the evening, LTA officially released the displays at the booth in soft copy. Here are some of the photos that LTA had included in their display at the Tok Panjang event booth.

A view of the platform area with the escalator installation ongoing. Also visible are the upper &
lower concourse levels of the station. The track on the left will be the inner, anti-clockwise loop
towards Prince Edward Road. The track on the right will be the outer, clockwise loop towards
Keppel station.

Exits 1 through 3 at the station will be connected by subway links. This is one of the links
under construction. All three used micro-tunnel boring machines & mining methods to excavate
the subways.

We previously mentioned about the design for Exit 1 being similar to Rochor station's lift &
staircase-only exit. Here is a view of the spiral staircase being constructed at Cantonment.

Ground improvement works were carried out to ensure stability of the soil to prevent erosion and

Based on the Project Information Centre displays, we now have some context for the location of the exits and the overall works being carried out. It is heartening to see that works have progressed on to the installation of mechanical & electrical components within the main station box. With track works starting up as well, it will be a matter of time before the rails are laid and the platform screen doors installed as well. Here's to  continued progress on the CCL6 project!
