Elusive Prince Edward Road

14 September 2022 - A view of the Prince Edward Road
station construction site.

Wow, is it hard to get a shot of this station. Unless you're up on a double decker bus on the expressway, there doesn't seem to be much you can capture of it. So that's what we did to try to get a shot of this elusive station.

At street level there isn't much to give away as to the progress of the station's construction. Also given that the station is being built using a top-down method, visibility towards the lower levels is incredibly difficult to obtain unless one is in a building directly next to the station. Our friend Mith252 from the Skyscrapers City forums has graciously allowed us to use some of his images.

Mith managed to find a vantage point in one of the nearby buildings. However, even then, there isn't much that can be made out of the station's progress. As work progresses, parts of the station structure should become more visible ahead of the station's expected opening in 2026.
